Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 2020 Harvest
Due to the high demand for our olive oil, we sold out of our 2020 harvest and press. We decided to supplement with oil purchased from McEvoy Ranch in Petaluma. We have a special relationship with this grower, producer, and miller of olive oil; they have been milling our olives in their state-of-the-art olive press since 2005.
McEvoy Ranch has acted as our nursery and ag advisor and have been an invaluable partner for many years in our olive oil journey. In 1994 they were the first to plant Tuscan varieties in California, creating a new high standard for extra virgin olive oil in California.
Every year’s olive harvest is different. The 2020 harvest of McEvoy Ranch olive oil is a highly complex blend of pepperiness with prominent flavors of chicory, radicchio, dandelion greens and artichoke and aromas of freshly cut grass, green tea, and winter greens. 2020’s harvest finds an olive oil with remarkably high polyphenol levels, a potent antioxidant that has been shown to provide a host of health benefits including lowering cholesterol, blood pressure, and inflammation.
Cautionary Note: This oil is not for the faint-of-heart! It is a true Tuscan blend with a bold and pungent finish.

Storage & Handling
- Store in a cool, dark area away from sunlight. Fridge not highly recommended.
- The antioxidants and polyphenols (the anti-inflammatory portion) break down when exposed to heat, sunlight, drastic weather changes.
- If stored correctly, it is recommended to use within 6-8 months of purchase.
