Herb Slab (2 Pack)
Acme’s Herb Slab is one of their most popular breads. We make it from a long-fermented dough to which we’ve add chopped fresh rosemary and extra-virgin olive oil. The bakers at Acme hand-form the dough into rectangular slabs, which they bake in our stone hearthed deck ovens, flipping them over half-way through the bake to give them their characteristic double crust. The olive oil in the dough imparts a golden hue to this bread. The texture is soft and the inside is light and airy with a Mediterranean flavor.
The loaf is frozen at the peak of freshness and will arrive with defrosting instructions.
This package includes 2 loaves that are shipped frozen. Each loaf measures 12″ × 6″ x 1″ and weighs 1lb.
