Our Mixed Fruit and Cheese Box realizes the possibilities of these two favorites, pairing our seasonal fruits with artisanal cheeses. What might you receive? Depending on the time of year, we send you a beautiful assortment of peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, pears, apples or citrus, along with products from two of our favorite local cheesemakers.
Simple and healthy, fruit and cheese always pair well together. Enjoy a mix of flavors and textures, ranging from the smooth and crunchy fruits with sweet flavor and the occasional touch of tang. The fruit contrasts nicely with the soft-to-medium firmness of the cheese with a mellow to salty finish. Inspired by Italian examples, Bellwether created a distinctive cow’s cheese that is mild yet full of fresh milk flavor. An excellent table cheese, the Carmody offers great taste and texture without overpowering the sweetness of our organic fruit varieties.
We’re also featuring the award-winning Original Blue from Point Reyes Farmstead. It is sweet and creamy with a medium-to-strong punch of blue flavor.
