Organic Crimson Royale Pluots
A dark-skinned pluot with red flesh, it has an intense flavor with sweet, spicy tones, a nice acid bite, and firm texture that softens as the fruit ripens. Their elongated shape is reminiscent of their apricot parentage but the resemblance ends there. Crimson Royale has a bright crimson-colored skin, which makes it appear more like a plum. This is a large pluot variety with a smooth, crunchy texture and a very sweet orange flesh that suggests a complex mixture of apple and plum flavors. Crimson Royales are typically available early to mid-August.
